Starting your day with a warm, spiced tonic helps to gently wake up your digestion and hydrate your skin from the inside out. This Calm & Glow Tonic is a simple ritual that helps clear away toxins and brings a natural radiance to your morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups warm water

  • ½ fresh lemon, juiced

  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger (or ½ tsp ginger powder)

  • 1 tsp raw honey

  • A tiny pinch of Himalayan pink salt

Instructions

  1. Stir the lemon juice, ginger, and salt into your warm water.

  2. Let the water cool slightly until it is warm to the touch (not boiling).

  3. Stir in the raw honey and sip slowly.

Crunchy Mama Tip:

Never add raw honey to boiling water! In Ayurveda, heating honey to high temperatures is thought to alter its properties and make it difficult to digest. Wait until your tonic is at a drinkable temperature before stirring in the honey to keep all those beneficial enzymes and antioxidants alive and well.
