Tiger’s Eye is a stone of good fortune and works directly with the Solar Plexus and Root Chakras. As it stimulates the Solar Plexus Chakra, it aids in easing fears and doubts. And as it stimulates the Root Chakra, it aids in grounding and staying calm.
As you may have guessed, Tiger’s Eye is named after its resemblance to a tiger’s eye. But it is also attributed to the power behind the stone being similar to the characteristics of a tiger. Roman soldiers carried Tiger’s Eye in the battle for good fortune, to help deflect weapons and encourage bravery.
For Meditation: Set your intention for this meditation. If you are laying down, place the stone on your Root or Solar Plexus Chakra. If you are sitting up, simply hold the stone in your hand. While slowing your breath flow, begin feeling and absorbing its positive energy and warm, golden light. Visualize the golden light flowing freely Crown to Root and Root to Crown.
Optional mantra: “I am powerful. I control my destiny. I welcome abundance.”
